The last construction phase of the district heating network in downtown Schrobenhausen was completed in 2020, and the last work on the expansion in Mhlrieder Weg is currently underway. Since 2019, the first buildings have been supplied by a mobile heating station on Thiers-Kreisel. Actually, they would have wanted to join the Leipa company, but that was no longer possible because otherwise they would have lost funding. The supply will therefore be prepared from the central sewage treatment plant for 2022, said Mayor Reisner.

In the case of the building areas, the cellar mountain width is to be mentioned first of all, here the development and sale of around 70 parcels are planned for 2022. The city council has decided on a cold local heating network in this 5.4 hectare area. In addition, there is a photovoltaic obligation for the resulting buildings. In addition, according to Reisner, the course has been set for the development of an industrial park in the Sandizell district. For a larger commercial area with good infrastructure, the most promising areas would be in the area of ​​the B300. But here one must first talk again about a possible tangent construction. At the same time, the pressure is high, because otherwise employers could emigrate if there are no development opportunities in Schrobenhausen.

The last point that the mayor of Schrobenhausen presented was social housing. The plans for the second apartment building at Brgermeister-Gtz-Strasse 48 have been completed here.
