Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – Before the vocational school exams, which begin on Tuesday in Baden-Württemberg, the Association of Teachers at Vocational Schools (BLV) calls for better health protection for teachers and students. Politicians have to do their homework, said the FSVO chairman Thomas Speck on Monday in Stuttgart.
Some of the teachers are in quarantine due to the “exploding number of corona cases and are therefore not available to take the exams”. In addition to this personnel bottleneck, the hygiene concepts also led to spatial bottlenecks. “And then of course it is expected that comprehensive health protection for the test subjects will take place. An extremely difficult situation,” said the FSVO boss.
The price that school administrators and teachers have to pay for it is high. “This is how overexploitation is carried out with the health of the staff,” criticized Speck. In a company sewn to the edge, the schools are burdened with a huge package due to the corona requirements.
On November 3rd, the exams in the vocational school will begin for more than 30,000 trainees in Baden-Württemberg.
