Lüneburg (dpa / lni) – In other elementary schools in Lower Saxony there have been infections with the corona virus. As the district of Lüneburg announced on Wednesday, the elementary schools Barendorf and Wendisch Evern will be completely quarantined. In Barendorf, the first vintage had been affected since Friday. Four primary schools and one primary and secondary school in Lower Saxony had already been closed on Monday due to cases of infection.
The Hameln-Pyrmont district announced on Tuesday evening that scenario B would apply to the Tündern elementary school from this Wednesday. In this alternating model, the classes are divided and taught alternately at school and at home. Scenario B is envisaged in regions with more than 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days if the authorities at the school in question have also ordered an infection protection measure such as quarantine for a class.
