Kiel (dpa / lno) – Due to the continued high number of corona infections, the state government wants to extend the lockdown at schools and daycare centers in Schleswig-Holstein until the end of January. “That means: face-to-face lessons will not be able to take place in schools until the end of January,” said Schleswig-Holstein’s Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) on Tuesday evening. This applies to all school areas. There will continue to be only emergency care.
In the north, there will initially only be opportunities for classes in schools for final classes. Education Minister Karin Prien (CDU) will report on the school concept in detail on Wednesday, said Günther. They then also provide information about what these rules mean specifically for the daycare centers. They are currently prohibited from entering.
