Students who no longer talk to each other on the playground, can no longer concentrate and cyberbully each other. In almost all schools, smartphones are already prohibited during class. But as soon as students have a free moment, they take their mobile phone. A survey by De Standaard at more than thirty secondary schools shows that smartphones are increasingly being banned. “After drug and alcohol prevention, we are now working on smartphone prevention.”
