Dresden (dpa / sn) – Saxony’s students can now virtually discover different professions. Using virtual reality glasses, they stand in a butcher’s shop, as a roofer at lofty heights or at the side of an emergency paramedic, as the Ministry of Education announced on Thursday. The aim is to inspire young people for jobs that would otherwise not be on the wish list.
According to the information, the films for 15 professions so far were shot by a specialist company from Schneeberg. This also includes animal owners, vehicle painters, dairy technologists, nurses and road builders. The schools can borrow more than 100 special glasses from the media education centers free of charge.
