Pupils of the Evangelical High School in Großrückerswalde collected hygiene products for Ukrainian refugees and handed them over to the Evangelical Youth Alliance in the old factory on Friday (photo left). More than 30 packages have come together. This includes towels, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste. They should be made available to refugees. Teacher Sonja Stoll is the initiator of the collection campaign. She also teaches social studies at the school. Pupils and teachers at Olbernhau High School collected EUR 3,160 for Ukraine. Latin and history teacher Georg Schrode (photo right, middle left) announced the sum on Friday at a musical and literary reading on the subject of war and peace in the Theater Variable.
