“The Federation and its unions have kept the mystery as to the precise locations of the picket lines until this notice of meeting,” the union said in a statement.

On this occasion, Sonia Ethier, president of the Centrale des unions du Québec (CSQ), Jacques Landry, president of the FPPE-CSQ, and Rémi Caulin, president of the Union of professionals in the education sector of Montreal (SPPMEM -CSQ), will speak this morning at Père-Marquette school in Montreal.

In Quebec, a similar action is planned, with the intervention of Sophie Massé, vice-president of the FPPE-CSQ, and Chantal Pellerin, president of the Union for the Quebec region, in front of the Cardinal-Roy school.

The Federation affiliated with the CSQ affirmed that its 10,000 members will show their “deep dissatisfaction” in negotiations with the government.

Salary offers and better working conditions did not convince union members to postpone their strike movement.
