16 million francs. This is the amount of credit that is presented to the voters in the summer for school space planning. With this announcement, the community left Herzogenbuchsee recently sit up and take notice. Time is of the essence, especially in kindergartens and high school. The planned new buildings for the Hubel and Rosenweg kindergartens and the renovation of the Burg schoolhouse are just the first measures.
The costs for the entire project, which are spread across the communities of Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz as well as the upper level association, are significantly higher. For the projects planned up to 2027, the cumulative costs are estimated at 69.8 million francs (plus / minus 25 percent), for the entire period up to 2040 at a total of 84.6 million francs.
