SCHOOL SERVICE MANAGEMENT – Crous Grenoble Alpes – Permanent contract in Saint-Martin-d’Hères

The head of the scholarships department works within the INTERPRETATION OF STUDENT LIFE which consists of three services:

  • The scholarship service which checks Student Social Files (DSE) and accessory support (transfer support, etc.) and manages the payment of aid.

  • The accommodation service which organizes and manages the allocation of housing

  • The culture and campus life service responsible for cultural programming, event programming and management of CVEC (Student and Campus Life Contribution) use

What does the head of the scholarships department do?

  • He/she leads and manages a team of stock market managers.

  • He/she is the point of contact for the director of student life.

  • He/she manages the scholarship service: processing higher education scholarship files (40,000 applications for the academy, 28,000 scholarship holders).

So it engages in several areas:

He/she supervises the team (1 agent category B and 10 agents category C): service management, regular interviews, goal setting, monitoring training needs, leave, absence.

He/she supports teams in engaging with management and organizational tools and improvements.

  • Reception/communication:

    Organizing the participation of the Crous in a physical reception shared with the University of Grenoble Alpes within the Muse building and participating in discussions about the use of other physical reception systems that shared by the center’s partners.

    Managing and organizing the processing of student emails through the “my student services” platform.

    Follows the feedback from the telephone platform (Clermont-Ferrand) and is the contact person for the platform.

    In conjunction with the Crous communication department, optimizationsr dissemination of information to scholarship students and future scholarship students: website, link with ministerial website, sending documents, etc.

    Participates and coordinates the participation of service representatives in various fairs (student fair, open days).

    Taking into account the entire user approach to facilitate processes, access to information, the user journey.

  • Management:

· Organizing and coordinating the work of staff (distribution of tasks and files), organizing regular meetings to ensure harmony in file processing + reconciliation.

· Ensuring there is a connection with the National Center for university and school jobs.

· Is the Crous contact for educational services of higher education institutions, controlling and implementing activities related to attendance for the fall and spring semesters (calendar, terms of payment of monthly payments).

· Implementing and monitoring internal controls,

· Monitoring appeals

· Ensuring that credits are tracked on all types of support related to the Legislature, Crous accounting agent and the Cnous.

· Prepare the liquidation schedule and manage payment cycles.

· Prepares and oversees the various annual aid allocation committees in conjunction with the social service, director of student life and the two managers.

· He is a reference and supports the implementation of the new scholarship processing software (Olafe) with the scholarship service team and with partners.

The head of the scholarships department works in conjunction with the head of social service and the internal communications department, as well as external partners, namely the National Center for University and School Work , Rectory of the Academic Department, Rectory of the Department. Grenoble Academy, teaching services of higher education institutions as well as regional directorate of public finance.

He/she is responsible for monitoring and predicting credits, and the management depends on several factors independent of the service: the ability to deal with emergencies (extension of grants ) is an important skill of the situation.
