School registrations in Montluçon: until June 19 to send the files

Due to the coronavirus crisis, the school affairs department of the city of Montluçon has implemented new methods for school registrations for the year 2020-2021.

Which procedure to follow?

Pending the reopening to the public of the school affairs service, the files for children entering very small and small sections of kindergarten, for CPs or those changing schools in September, are to be sent by email to service.affairesscolaires@mairie- montlucon.fr.

If the complete files cannot be sent by email, it is nevertheless possible to deposit them in the mailbox of the administrative city.

In all cases, registration must be made no later than Friday, June 19.

Which documents to send?

For registrations, the registration form completed to download from the city website, a photocopy of the family book and proof of address of less than three months.

If the parents are separated, the certificate of honor of the person having custody of the child must also be attached.

In the event of a divorce: the judgment.

In the absence of the family on Montluçon: a certificate on the honor of the person hosting the child (as well as a photocopy of identity card and proof of address).

To complete the files, if it is not possible to scan the documents, a photo can be sent (provided the documents are readable). If it is not possible to download the registration or exemption form, the school affairs department may send them by post.


After receipt of the application and validation by the school affairs department, parents will receive by mail the registration certificate with the mention of the assignment school and the procedures for finalizing enrollment in the school.

For derogations

Parents who wish to enroll their child in a school outside the sector or in another municipality that Montluçon must fill out the exemption form to download from the city’s website, send a letter with supporting documents explaining the request.

The exemption file will be examined in committee in early June.
