School extension is Herculean task: NZ takes a look at the most important projects in the investment program of VG Birkenfeld – Nahe newspaper

The construction of the new fire brigade equipment house in Birkenfeld, which is in the final phase and, according to updated estimates, will cost around 4.3 million euros, no longer has any influence on this investment program, but the next major project that the association has to tackle is just around the corner. A total of almost exactly 3 million euros – that is around 100,000 euros less than 2020 – are to be invested in new projects in the city and the 30 surrounding locations in the coming year, with the necessary expansion of the Realschule (RS) plus / Fachoberschule (FOS) in Birkenfeld becomes the most difficult feat.
