The Ministry of Education has just presented to the unions the proposal of the school calendar for the next academic year, 2023-2024. The academic period will be from September 8 to June 20both inclusive, for the Infant, Primary, ESO, Baccalaureate and FP stages.
The caveat is that the effective teaching of classes in the second year of Baccalaureate will end depending on the dates chosen for selectivity tests.
In the current course, the school period between September 8 and June 21.
In the case of special regime teachings, classes will also begin on September 8, but they will conclude on June 28.
As for the holidays, Christmas will be from December 22 to January 5 -which is Friday-. Those of Carnival will be on February 12, 13 and 14, 2024. and those of Easterfrom March 25 to April 1, both inclusive.
The classes will be effective until the last day of the academic periodregardless of the dates of the final evaluations, as will be done this course.
Regarding the adaptation period in the Infant stage, the centers may opt for a gradual incorporation of the students in the fourth year, which in any case will not last beyond September 15.
