Fear in Torvaianica, school bus full of students catches fire, saved by the prompt intervention of the driver of the vehicle. It happened this morning, around 7.15 in via Denmark, at number 165, in the Martin Pescatore area, in the municipality of Pomezia. Here, for reasons still under investigation, a bus of the private Troiani line, full of students who were on their way to school, incredibly caught fire.
Moments of fear, with flames coming out of the engine of the bus, which left a few minutes earlier from Torvaianica. Having sounded the alarm, the driver immediately made all the boys get off, putting them in safety, placing them in single file, to prevent them from being overwhelmed by the cars and to prevent them from being involved in the fire which destroyed the all the means.
Two teams of firefighters from the Pomezia detachment, the Carabinieri and local police officers intervened on the spot, temporarily closing the road to traffic to allow rescue and safety operations for the students involved, who subsequently they awaited the arrival of other means. The traffic was thus diverted in the area, with closure starting from Borgo di Santa Rita and exit at Torvaianica center for those coming from Pomezia and from the height of the rides for those arriving from the center of the seaside resort.
