The second country school in Gutach is to be energetically renovated using new technologies – for three million euros.
. Gutach has been awarded the contract for a research project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The model project is about the energetic renovation of the secondary school with a volume of almost three million euros. The municipality is contributing 718,000 euros of this. The remaining sum is financed by the federal government and the project partners. The project is to be implemented within four years.
With the use of new technologies, the expert project can become a model for the renovation of existing buildings throughout Germany. By combining innovative technologies, it should be shown that it is also possible in an existing building to achieve the primary energy saving of 80 percent required by the federal government. The electricity and heat concept corresponds to the climate-neutral standard for buildings in 2050.
The community has won well-known partners for this project: the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) in Freiburg, the company Caldoa from Friedrichshafen, which contributes the technology, the company Aleon from Wangen im Allgu, responsible for control and regulation, the company Scholze-Thost from Leinfelden-Echterdingen, responsible for digitizing the project, and the Cutec Institute of the Clausthal University of Technology.
