School and college social position indexes stoke anger

On January 17, it was the feeling of injustice that prompted around fifty parents of pupils to occupy the Jean-Renoir school group in Noisy-le-Sec (45,000 inhabitants Seine-Saint-Denis) to demand means. In October, they discovered the social position index (IPS) of their school, a variable which makes it possible to know whether the pupils are, on average, more or less from a social environment favorable to their academic success.
