School Admission (SAE): Results of the Complementary Period

Starting this Thursday, December 7, families who participated in the Supplementary Application Period to the School Admission System (SAE), to find a vacancy in public or subsidized private establishments, can find out their results by entering the web platform www.sistemadeadmisionescolar.cl.

On the site, representatives will find four types of results:

1. Assignment in any of your preferences: The SAE gave him a vacancy in one of the establishments he selected. Now you must download the receipt and register.
2. Allocation at the establishment of origin: The student already had a place at one establishment and applied for others, but since there were no vacancies available, he or she kept the place he had secured. Now they have to download the receipt and register at their establishment of origin.
3. Assigned by proximity: The system did not find available vacancies in the establishments it selected and cannot continue in its original establishment, so the SAE assigned them a vacancy in the free establishment closest to their home and which is not categorized as “Insufficient”.
4. No assignment: There were no vacancies available in the establishments you selected or in the free ones near your home, so you must wait for the regularization period to obtain a vacancy.

Those who did obtain an assignment in the Complementary Period (cases 1, 2 and 3), and for all those who had already obtained a vacancy in the Main Period of the SAE, must now enroll in the establishment where they were assigned.

The registration period begins this Monday, December 11 and will last until December 27 and is done in person at the establishments.

Regularization Period

Those who were left without a vacancy assigned in the Complementary Period (case 4), or who for various reasons could not participate in the two SAE application processes, there are still alternatives to enter an establishment for the 2024 school year.

At the beginning of January, the School Admission System will have a Regularization Period that will serve to resolve these cases, which will consist of a digital waiting list that will be presented soon. This will also allow us to resolve the situation of those students who repeated and who now require a vacancy at the same level they studied in 2023.
