Atomic power, Groningen gas and biomass are divisive

BERLIN – During Prime Minister Rutte’s first visit to the new Chancellor Scholz, both government leaders emphasized the unity. They talked about major ‘agreements between the neighboring countries and their progressive coalition agreements’ and announced another joint cabinet meeting. But when it comes to issues such as nuclear energy, Groningen gas and biomass, the two EU partners are miles apart.
