PARIS, November 1 (Reuters) – Stocks to follow Monday on the Paris Stock Exchange and in Europe where futures indicate an upward opening:
* RENAULT RENA.PA, STELLANTIS STLA.PA – New car registrations in France fell by 30.71% year-on-year in October, according to data released Monday by the Automotive Platform (PFA).
* ENGIE ENGIE.PA – Catherine McGregor, Managing Director of Engie reaffirmed Saturday on France Inter that the group “is not for sale”. She also estimated that a halt in the development of wind turbines in France – pronounced by the presidential candidates Xavier Bertrand and Marine Le Pen – would be “a major mistake”.
* BARCLAYS BARC.L announced Monday that its Chairman and CEO, Jes Staley, will step down following investigations by UK financial authorities into his past ties to Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide in 2019 after accusations of trafficking and abuse of minors.
* RYANAIR RYA.I on Monday posted its first quarterly profit since the end of 2019 but the low-cost company said it expected to record an annual loss of up to 200 million euros due to lower prices of tickets this winter.
* TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI plans to convene its board of directors on Monday 11 November under pressure from its main shareholder, VIVENDI VIV.PA, after lowering its profit forecast for the second time in six months , said two sources familiar with the matter on Saturday.
* Skoda, a subsidiary of VOLKSWAGEN VOWG_p.DE, announced Sunday to restart much of the production after a two-week shutdown due to the shortage of semiconductors.
