Schneider Electric Switzerland: Müller succeeds de Vries

Since June 15, 2024, Freddy Müller has been the new Sales Director Industrial Automation & OEM at Schneider Electric Switzerland and a member of the management team. He succeeds Vera de Vries.

In his new role, Freddy Müller is responsible for sales and business development for the technology group’s industrial division in Switzerland, according to a press release. The 39-year-old began his career as an application engineer at Siemens, where he subsequently held various positions in the industrial automation segment. For the past eight years, he has also been responsible for the company’s Swiss business as Country Head of Motion Control Systems.

At Schneider Electric, the trained automation engineer now wants to use his expertise to further optimize and advance the business area entrusted to him and intensify holistic customer support, it continues. With almost 20 years of professional experience in the industrial sector, Freddy Müller brings with him a deep understanding of the needs of solution users.

For the father of two children, it was not just the desire for a new personal challenge that was the deciding factor in his move to Schneider Electric: “The opportunity to work from Switzerland in a globally networked position not only offers exciting tasks, but also a lot of flexibility and a long-term perspective.
