16 months after leaving the sporting directorship of Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04, Jochen Schneider has a new job. The 51-year-old will be Head of Sports at the New York Red Bulls, returning to the RB cosmos after his stints as Coordinator Sport Global Soccer at Red Bull GmbH and Head of Sport at RB Leipzig. Schneider will succeed Kevin Thelwell, who joined Everton in the English Premier League in February. “I’m really looking forward to working in the MLS, the fastest growing soccer league in the world,” said Schneider.
