Marcel Bregman, the Schiedam alderman for work and economics, among other things, is suffering from exhaustion and is currently absent from the college. His portfolio is divided among the other councilors.

Bregman suffers from “symptoms of fatigue that prevent him from doing 100 percent for the city,” writes the municipality. “That is why he is forced to take a rest period. In consultation with the college, Bregman has reported sick. In the coming period he will work on his recovery and be supported in this.”
The municipality will take a decision on Tuesday about how exactly Bregman’s tasks will be divided among the other members of the Schiedam college.
