In the top eleven of the European Football Championship, there are five players from the team of the winning Italy and three from the silver England. According to UEFA, the ideal line-up lacks a representative of the Czech team, which was eliminated in the quarterfinals with Denmark.

Italy is represented in the selection by goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who was voted the best player of the tournament, defenders Leonardo Bonucci with Leonard Spinazzola, midfielder Jorginho and forward Federico Chiesa. Defenders Harry Maguire with Kyle Walker and forward Rahe Sterling were selected from the vice-champion team.

It also reached 18-year-old Spanish midfielder Pedri, the winner of the award for the best young Euro player. The list is supplemented by Danish midfielder Pierre Emile Höjbjerg and Belgian forward Romel Lukaku.

The biggest Czech candidate for a place in the ideal eleven was forward Patrik Schick, who finished second among the shooters. Although Cristiano Ronaldo, the 25-year-old Leverkusen scored five goals, but decided in favor of the Portuguese star that he scored one more assist. Ronaldo, whose team was eliminated in the round of 16 with Belgium, is also missing from the All Star team.

The captain of the newly bred champions Giorgio Chiellini did not fit into the selection either.

The best eleven of the championship were selected by a sixteen-member commission of observers, including Czech coach Dušan Fitzel.
