Schedule of Events for Summer Street Festival in Nauwieser District

Tuesday, August 1st

12 to 5 p.m., program for children, families and adults
From 12 p.m. opening and author reading with the children’s book author Stefan Gemmel. Important note: The reading by the author has been postponed due to the weather, the new meeting point is the eli.ja church, Halbergstraße 15.

Afterwards, the youth café Exodus organizes concerts with local, young artists according to the motto “Sing my song”. Also: bar with non-alcoholic cocktails

6 p.m.: Official opening
Together with Lord Mayor Uwe Conradt, the actors open the premiere of the summer streets in the Nauwieser district.

4 p.m.: Participation program for kids

At the interactive station of the Saarland Development Policy Network (NES), everything on the wheel of fortune revolves around the 17 global sustainability goals. Visitors test their knowledge and get to know the 17 destinations in Saarland.

Friday, August 4th

12 p.m. to 4 p.m.: BUND
Mobile environmental laboratory with the KunterBUNDmobil – For the children, young people and curious adults from the Nauwieser district, the BUND Saar e. V. with the well-known KunterBUNDmobil offer a possibility that can contribute to a living understanding of nature.

Searching for and “making visible” the animals and plants around you – the mobile environmental laboratory makes it possible. Find out interesting things about animals and plants and thus not only arouse curiosity, but also develop a feel for protecting the environment.
