One of the most important dates for the world of cinema at an international level is approaching: the ceremony of the Oscar Awards 2023. With the nominations already in everyone’s mind and the red carpet through which the great Hollywood stars will parade as a great attraction, the gala returns for another year to reward the great cinematographic figures of the year.
After the controversial awards ceremony that took place last year, with Will Smith slapping Chris Rock as the absolute protagonist of the event, all eyes will be on the 95th edition of the Oscars. Comedian Jimmy Kimmel, known on the talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! of the ABC chain, will be in charge of presenting and directing the show next sunday march 12 of 2023.
‘Everything at once everywhere’, the film directed by Daniel Scheinert and Dan Kwan, stands out as one of the great favorites of the night, after having obtained the highest number of nominations, with 11 mentions. It is closely followed by other films such as ‘Inisherin’s Banshee’ or ‘The Fabelmans’, by Steven Spielberg, who also aspire to win some of the statuettes.
The Spanish icing on the movie night will not be missing, with the presence of the Spanish-Cuban Ana de Armas, nominated in the Best Actress category for her role in ‘Blonde’. This is the first Oscar nomination for the 34-year-old, who shines in this fictional account of the life of Marilyn Monroe despite the poor reviews the Netflix film received.
