In one of its lowest moments since the arrival of coach Gerardo Martino in 2019, the Mexican team will begin its participation in the Concacaf Nations League on Saturday.
El Tri concluded a three-game tour of the United States in which he scored just two goals, one of them an own goal in a 2-1 victory against Nigeria at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
The sensations left by Mexico in its 3-0 defeat against Uruguay and the scoreless draw against Ecuador are not good.
