This year, Schatz GmbH from Naarn, which specializes in system planning, followed the motto “Donations instead of gifts”. Managing director Bernhard Schatz therefore presented a Christmas donation of 2,000 euros to Lebenshilfe Oberösterreich. “As a family business, it is a matter close to our hearts to support people with disabilities in our region in these challenging times,” says Bernhard Schatz.
Schatz Engineering’s far-reaching commitment does not go unnoticed. This year, as reported, the company was nominated among 47 other companies from all over Austria for the Golden Securitas award from the WKO and AUVA. Schatz GmbH ranked among the five best companies in Austria in the “Diversity Brings Success” category and was awarded silver for its efforts in the area of integration.
Five international employees who were brought into the country with the red-white-red card have been working at Schatz since 2021. Among others from Iran, Egypt and India. The new colleagues were supported in their daily lives, from dealing with authorities to finding accommodation. Internal company communication was switched to bilingual and all documents were translated into English. Through team-strengthening measures and activities, the new employees are now firmly integrated into the office.
