Schalke 04 have apparently found what they are looking for in the Bundesliga. The Royal Blues are said to be interested in Finn Dahmen from FSV Mainz 05, how transfermarkt.de reported (S04-Transfer-News at RUHR24).
The Ruhrpott-Klub is already holding concrete talks with the 24-year-old goalkeeper. The German U-national player’s contract expires on June 30, he will “definitely” leave the 05ers.

But it is questionable whether Finn Dahmen will open the S04. Schalke apparently have plenty of competition in courting the goalkeeper.
Among other things, the Dutch top club PSV Eindhoven is said to have the 24-year-old on their list as a potential newcomer. Last summer, Hertha BSC worked intensively on Finn Dahmen.
FC Schalke 04 is said to be in talks with Finn Dahmen from FSV Mainz 05.

Finn Dahmen, trained in Mainz, has stood between the posts 13 times for the 05ers in the German upper house. The number one is Robin Zentner (28).
“Mainz has decided in favor of Robin several times in recent years,” said Finn Dahmen recently Bild. “That’s why I’m assuming that my time in Mainz will end in the summer.”
