Kicker says that a year and a half ago West Ham were willing to pay 45 million euros for Schalke 04 midfielder Suat Serdar.

Schalke 04 turned down a € 45 million offer for West Ham United’s Suat Serdar in January 2020, Kicker said.
Today, following Schalke’s relegation from the Bundesliga, the 24-year-old central midfielder is reportedly on the cusp of a € 8 million transfer to Hertha BSC.
Serdar has a one-year contract with Schalke 04. He played four games for the German national team.
