Direct weather report: scattered showers and thunderstorms; let’s see where it will rain again in the next few hours
The expected time for the next few hoursWe are in Primavera and it is absolutely normal for the weather to throw tantrums, even changing abruptly throughout the day. The weather configuration, these days, has precisely these characteristics, typical of the season and the atmosphere is destined to remain rather dynamic even in the next hours when we will deal with sudden showers and even some temporal.
All normal then. The greatest contrasts and consequently the greatest effects, from this time of the year onwards almost always occur during the hottest hours of the day, from central to afternoon, so to speak.
But what is the cause of all this instability? Italy is no longer under the hegemony of high pressure and fresher and more unstable air masses, after a long journey that started directly from the northernmost lands of the Old Continent, are continuing to reach our country. Clashing with temperature milder, strong contrasts are generated which, in fact, give rise to evident notes of instability, especially in the hottest hours.
Also the day of Tuesday 3 May will therefore be double-sided: after a mostly quiet morning over most of the country, many were born in the early afternoon thunderstorms especially onthe reliefs of the Alps, but also the Apennine ones, in particular the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and much of the central-southern one.
Only at dusk, thanks also to the attenuation of the solar heat and consequently of the contrasts, the instability will decrease considerably, thus leaving room for a decidedly more starry evening and night over most of the country.
Be careful though, in the next days the atmosphere is destined to reserve us other moments of strong dynamism on the front weather forecastas in this beginning of the week and indeed, even more marked.
