A terrible presentation by Kiril Petkov. The co-chairman of “Continuing the change” proved today that knowledge and general culture are not friends at all.
It all started with the list of infamy published on Facebook by “Vazrazhdane”-Varna. The party announced the names of teachers who signed against the amendments to the education law banning “LGBT propaganda in school”.
In an effort to defend gender propaganda and hit “Vazrazhdane”, on whose initiative it was banned by law, Prost Kiro demonstrates a complete ignorance of history. He has no idea who Oskar Schindler is or how he saved nearly 1,200 Jews by employing them in his factories. Petkov has not even seen Steven Spielberg’s genius film “Schindler’s List”, dedicated to the industrialist.
“Schindler’s List” in today’s Bulgaria! We will not allow this, Petkov wrote on Facebook on the occasion of the “Vazrazhdane” publication. His words caused an avalanche of outrage.
Later, the co-chairman’s post was edited and “Schindler’s List” was replaced with “hate list”.
However, Petkov’s presentation did not go unnoticed by the watchful eye of PR expert Diana Damyanova, one of the creators of “Change”. She firmly scolded Petkov for the blunder.
Here is what Diana Damyanova wrote:
“I use this opportunity to tell Cyril and his advisers that Schindler’s list is exactly, but exactly the opposite of what is written here.
I know that this Oscar-winning film may not have been broadcast in Canada, it may not have been studied at Harvard, but this really exceeded my expectations.
It’s good that someone stepped in and replaced Schindler’s list with the list of hate, which again is not true because it is a list of life, salvation and love, but isn’t it good to ask the editors and PRs not after, but before we produce another big blunder?
Because it turns out quite ridiculously.
It is not bad that the leaders of the nation are not burdened with a lot of knowledge, that is how the people chose them, but to speak in alangro /according to Cyril/ is not good at all.
