American actress Scarlett Johansson recently shocked her followers by participating in a blind date with Ocean, a 12-year-old pitbull dog rescued by Muddy Paws Rescue, a non-profit organization located in New York. The meeting was organized by The Dodo, the platform specialized in animals.

The date was part of the “Dodo Dream Date” program, where celebrities are paired with rescued dogs to help them find forever homes. Scarlett, who is also known for her love of animals, did not hesitate to accept her invitation. In a video published by The Dodo on its social networks you can see the actress and the dog enjoying a spa day.

The artist known for films like Match Point, Lost in Translation and Black Widow shared her impressions of the date, revealing that at first they were both nervous, but that Ocean quickly gained confidence. “I don’t think you’ll have any problem finding a forever home because you’re exceptionally adorable, very cute, and that’s what we’re all looking for,” the actress told the dog at the end of the date.

The show, which seeks to find families for rescued dogs, uses celebrity fame as a tool to raise awareness about animal adoption and the importance of local shelters. In the first episode of this series, Canadian television host Antoni Porowski prepared a delicious meal for a sweet dog named Clementine. Later, the dog was adopted.
