If we take a look at the past, the original avenger played by Scarlett Johansson, was the only woman with prominence in Marvel movies, until 2015 when the character of Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, was introduced, both made a difference within of a universe in which the male sex predominated.
“It was great when Lizzy came in, when she showed up everything was balanced, because there was too much testosterone for a long time. Lizzy is fantastic, very funny and has a peculiar sense of humor, she is a professional ”, expressed Johansson, in an interview.
Although the character of Olsen was introduced years ago, it was until 2021 that he had his first starring role in “Wanda Vision”, the series in which he had to interpret the different periods of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, Johansson said that the evolution of his character was necessary.
“What she was doing was so difficult, I worked with her and was amazed at what she was creating out of nothing. I was like wow! It is an incredible thing that you have created, this beautiful mystical thing that had such a strong feminine energy, it was very necessary ”, he affirmed.
