Scared woman during gas station robbery – NBC New York (47)

NEW YORK – A 42-year-old woman pumping gas into her Range Rover on Long Island was in the terror of her life when thieves arrived in a Porsche and one began driving off in her SUV, briefly dragging her before returning the vehicle to yours.

The woman was at the 76 Glen Cove Road gas station in Glen Head, Nassau County, around 11 a.m. Tuesday when investigators say they saw a white Porsche Cayenne pull up next to her.

At least three people were in the vehicle, possibly four, he told police. A man got out of his Porsche and got into her Range Rover, then started driving while she clung to the vehicle. He freed her after being dragged a few meters.

The thief stopped near the junction of Glen Cove and Glen Head roads, got out of the Range Rover and took the woman’s handbag and laptop before getting back into the Porsche, which had approached him. He left the truck.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was treated on the spot. Police say their investigations are ongoing.
