Reuters reported, citing data from the American Petroleum Institute on Tuesday, that inventories of crude oil and gasoline in the United States fell in the past week, while inventories of distillates increased.
Crude inventories fell by about 4.8 million barrels in the week ending Nov. 18. Gasoline inventories also decreased by about 450,000 barrels, while distillate inventories increased by about 1.1 million barrels.
