There has been an enormous media storm in Denmark after the Spanish the weekly magazine Lecturas published photos of Crown Prince Frederik (55) on a secret visit to Madrid.
The magazine wrote that the crown prince spent the night at the home of Mexican TV star Genoveva Casanova (47). The pictures in the weekly magazine show Frederik and Casanova out on the town, and at her home.

Casanova has denied that there is talk of romance, and that they only have mutual friends. The Danish royal house has remained silent. Now, however, Casanova’s ex-husband, Count Cayetano Martínez de Irujo (60), is breaking his silence about the scandal.

Supports ex-wife
Martínez de Irujo was married to Casanova from 2005 to 2007, and speaks out about the images of his ex-wife and the crown prince in the program “Fiesta”, according to Danish B.T.

In the program, Martínez de Irujo says that he believes in his ex-wife, and that she has “unconditional support” with him. At the same time, he hopes that an end will be put to “false information coming out”, as the last thing he wants is for the media uproar to affect their two common children, the twins Amine and Luis (23).
