Scandalous and hypocritical behavior of Borisov and Plevneliev towards the Ecumenical Patriarch –

/Поглед.инфо/
friends,
For several days now there has been noise about the excessive behavior of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

Yes, he cannot comment on the cultural heritage of Bulgaria, as he allowed himself to do. Yes, he cannot treat our Patriarch without the necessary respect, His Holiness Grandpa Neofit, who is the head of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. Yes, he cannot do all this in front of the eyes and amidst the silence of a number of Bulgarian statesmen.

But something else is more scandalous and unacceptable. The President, Mr. Plevneliev, on the proposal of the Council of Ministers, chaired by Mr. Borisov, awarded this same Bartholomew with the Order of “Stara Planina”, first degree. I am reading the law and I am puzzled: this order is awarded to foreign persons only if they have particularly great merits to Bulgaria!… These “particularly great” merits must be described in detail in the motivated proposal that our foreign minister should have made to the Council of Ministers.

It turns out that a person with scandalous and offensive behavior for Bulgaria and our Orthodox Church is awarded the highest honor by the same Plevneliev and Borisov, who at the same time try to distinguish themselves from the Ecumenical Patriarch. This is an absurd and hypocritical state of affairs, which, after all, is an insult to the entire Bulgarian people. No one can mock the national dignity and honor like Bartholomew, Plevneliev and Borisov did these days.

Already last night I raised a question under parliamentary scrutiny to clarify #‎WHO proposed to award the Ecumenical Patriarch with the highest honor and WHAT are his so unusually great services to the country (I mean our country, not another country) .
