After the announcement of the Tipsport Game Changer, there was an avalanche of reactions. Such a tournament has no analogue in domestic waters, and new wrestlers still appear who would like to participate in it. Alex Lohoré is one of them, but we probably won’t see anyone from Poland in the pyramid.
The pyramid tournament Tipsport Game Changer will offer us the matches of the true elite of the national welterweight scene. So not only local but so far we only know 9 names and all of them are from the Octagon.
Among them are David Kozma, Patrik Kincl, Kaik Brito, Apollo Silva, Bojan Veličković, Maté Kertész, Christian Eckerlin, Christian Jungwirth and Samuel Krištofič.
The latter joined later and is not part of the eight nominated, so he will face someone from the Octagon. At first he refused, but finally decided to accept the offer.
Now there is speculation about other names, with Alex Lohoré close too. However, the African-born French fighter will have a meeting with Matúš Juráček later this year, which will reveal whether he will become the tenth member of the Game Changer.
After all, Ondřej Novotný talked about it in his podcast MMA flight across the world. “It is clear that Lohoré would like to. We would like to, but now he has a match with Juráček and he has to show his qualities there. Going to Gamechanger after a defeat is possible. I’m not saying no.
We will see. Also, we mentioned that you will get the sixteenth wild card, which I think will be interesting. I don’t know of a case where viewers/fans can decide who participates and who receives 15,000 euros for losing in the first round of Gamechanger, which is money.

Afterwards, a question about Polish KSW wrestlers was also asked. But Novotný reacted strongly to this: “Certainly not.” We probably won’t see any names from Poland in the pyramid. The fighters are expected to come from the British Isles, where the organization is targeting.
