A new case of digital sexual violence worries the parents of a private school Chacowhere they reported that several students were selling naked photos of their classmates generated with artificial intelligence (AI).
The serious situation came to light on Friday night, when a group of girls warned that their own classmates used images that they had published on their social networks and altered to spread them.

At that moment, the students began to take in the dimension of the event and asked those involved why they did it and who had the photos, although there were no further answers. In any case, investigators believe that the minors would have sold the photos through mass channels such as WhatsApp y Telegram.
According to what was indicated Chaco Diarythey would be seven victimsalthough only one of them made the formal complaint so far.
In that sense, sources from the Don Bosco school told that local media that the first to appear at the institution were the parents of the accused students and they made themselves available. Then, the parents of the affected girls approached, who expressed their concern about what had happened.
Although it is suspected that there may be other schools involved, these are boys who they share the same classroomwhich generates even more fear for the victims.
The families requested some type of punishment for the suspects. However, from the educational establishment they explained that there will be no sanction because “the events happened outside the institution and outside of school hours.” Likewise, the community raised the responsibility of schools in preventing these types of incidents.

The Chaco Police reported that the Cybercrime Department and the Technological Crimes Division are working to analyze the steps of the users who created the images and the scope they had.
“The community is warned about the seriousness of cybercrime and the importance of reporting any situation of violation of the privacy and safety of minors,” they indicated in a statement.
A similar case in San Martín and the concern of parents
Days ago, a similar situation occurred at a private school of Saint Martinwhere A 15-year-old student was accused of creating and selling false images of his classmates naked class using AI.
The complaint was filed in August by a group of parents of teenagers who attend the San Agustiniano schoolwho discovered the case through another colleague, who posed as a buyer and obtained the CBU and the photo of the student who made the sales, thus confirming his identity.

In that case, the student used the platform Discord to create groups, inviting other students to join a private chat. There, he spread photos and videos of girls, many of them were his classmates. But those images were false, since the manipulated through AI to “undress” them.
According to the complaint, The group reached more than 8,000 members, both minors and adults.
