In the run-up to the start of the 2024/25 campaign, controversy took over the Premier League after the Tottenham Hotspur player reportedly taking the substance colloquially known as “laughing gas”.
The English newspaper The Sun rescued a Video posted by midfielder Yves Bissouma on the social network Snapchat, where it was shown snorting nitrous oxide (known in English as “hippy crack”) from a balloon during a party.
The situation occurred after a pre-season friendly against Bayern Munich last weekend. The controversy was unleashed on the Ivorian, as it was a substance illegal to possess in the UK.
