Udaipur (Rajasthan). Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said scams and corruption will become India’s destiny if Rahul Gandhi becomes the prime minister and that “traitors will be behind bars” if Narendra Modi becomes prime minister again. Shah also targeted the Congress-led government in Rajasthan, saying that if it had set up a special court in the Kanhaiya Lal murder case in Udaipur last year, the accused would have been hanged by now. He accused the Gehlot-led government of being “number one” in corruption and called upon the people to overthrow the state government in the upcoming assembly elections. Shah expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will form the government in the state in the upcoming assembly elections and Modi will once again become the prime minister with 300 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Counting the achievements of the Modi-led government in the last nine years in a public meeting in Udaipur, Shah said that these nine years were transformative for India in many ways. After the rally, the Home Minister also held talks with tribal leaders and party officials in a hotel. Addressing the gathering, Shah took a jibe at the opposition parties, which recently met in Patna to chalk out a joint strategy ahead of next year’s Lok Sabha elections, saying, “Those who gathered there have been involved in corruption and They do not want to do good to the people, they are looking for the future of their sons. He said, “Sonia Gandhi aims to make Rahul Gandhi the prime minister, Lalu Yadav aims to make her son Tejashwi Yadav the prime minister, Mamta Banerjee aims to make her nephew Abhishek the chief minister and similarly Ashok Gehlot aims to make his son Vaibhav the chief minister.” want.’
He said, ‘If Rahul Baba becomes the Prime Minister, then these scams, losses, corruption will become the destiny of India and if Modi ji becomes the Prime Minister again, then the corrupt people will go behind the bars.’ Accusing the Gehlot-led government, he said that the government is doing vote bank politics and held the government responsible for the delay in punishment to the culprits of the Kanhaiya Lal murder case in Udaipur. It is worth mentioning that Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor in Udaipur, was murdered by two people with a sharp weapon on June 28 last year. The criminals had accused Kanhaiyalal of insulting Islam after he allegedly posted content in support of suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma.
He said, ‘They don’t feel ashamed… and they tell me what did Kanhaiyalal do… Hey, you should be ashamed first… Tell mothers, brothers, sisters… Who didn’t give security to Kanhaiyalal? Whose police remained silent till he died… Hey, you didn’t even want to be caught, the NIA (National Investigation Agency) caught you and don’t lie Gehlot ji, the charge sheet has not been filed. I say on the injury of Danke that the charge sheet has been filed on 22 December 2022, it is your job to form a special court… so that the punishment is given soon.
Shah alleged that the people of the majority community are being exploited under the Congress rule in Rajasthan. He alleged, ‘Modi banned PFI (Popular Front of India), but PFI rally was held in Kota under Gehlot’s rule. Hindu festival was stopped in Karauli, Sangh’s road movement was stopped, 300 years old Shiva temple was demolished in Alwar.
