Pasquale Aliberti: «A few hours after the installation of the new fountain in Piazza Bagni, a group of minors tried to eradicate it. Yesterday again, after having been removed on Saturday, the same group returned to complete the destruction together with the new vertical signs. The advisor Paolo Attianesehaving arrived on site, intervened to stop them, trying to explain to them the damage they were causing to the community, to reiterate that that fountain had been placed there for the citizens and certainly not to annoy anyone. For not turning his face, for trying to reason with the gang he even suffered serious aggression from the fathers of some of the boyswho by the way weren’t even present at the time. A serious physical violence for which he was taken to hospital and released only in the early hours of dawn this morning».
The mayor promises serious measures: «We are faced with uncivilized attitudes about which we must all network: Municipality, Church, School and Family must absolutely work together to teach the sense of the common good, respect and education. We must collaborate to revive the values that seem lost.
