Heidenheim – Bundesliga relegated SC Paderborn also missed their first win of the season in the 2nd Bundesliga at 1. FC Heidenheim.

The team of coach Steffen Baumgart on Saturday, despite a good performance, did not get beyond a 0-0 performance-related 0-0 at last year’s fast climber, but after two defeats at least secured the first point of this season. The FCH, on the other hand, took fourth point on the third matchday.

The 2559 spectators in the Heidenheimer Voith-Arena saw a decent second division game in which there was initially no risk of goal. The game only picked up speed shortly before the break, when Paderborn’s Svante Ingelsson shot just past the goal from close range (37th minute).

FCH coach Frank Schmidt had started four debut eleven for me, but that didn’t pay off. It was only in the second half that the hosts put more pressure on, but did not use their shot opportunities. The best was awarded by Jens Föhrenbach, who shot from eight meters next to the Paderborn goal (80th).
