After a strong Bundesliga season, SC Freiburg has again qualified for the Europa League. In the summer, however, there could be some changes in the Freiburg squad. Now that goalkeeper Mark Flekken has left FC Brentford, central defender Philipp Lienhart, among others, could also leave.
So it’s logical that Freiburg are already looking for new players. Like the French portal Foot Market reports, Lucas Perrin from Racing Straßburg is said to have been targeted. After two years at the Ligue 1 club, the 24-year-old was able to make great progress, which has apparently also arrived in Breisgau.
The centre-back, previously trained at Olympique Marseille, was signed by Strasbourg only last year after his loan expired. Due to the interest from the Bundesliga, however, Perrin could be gone again quickly. The player’s contract is still valid until 2025.
