SC Freiburg found a new central defender on the other side of the Rhine. After FT-The Bundesliga club from Breisgau is interested in Lucas Perrin from Racing Straßburg. The profile of the 24-year-old French left an impression on those responsible in Freiburg.
Perrin looks back on a changeable season, but presented himself in good form at the end and established himself as a regular player. It is also thanks to him that Strasbourg put in a strong final sprint in the French Ligue 1 and can only theoretically be relegated.
In the summer of last year, Perrin switched from league rivals Olympique Marseille to Racing, having previously spent a season on loan with the Alsatians. The 1.88 man still has a contract that runs until 2025, so he would cost Freiburg a fee.
