Frankfurt (dpa/lsw) – SC Freiburg wants to take the momentum from the successful start in the Europa League and avoid another negative experience in the Bundesliga. After the defeats in Stuttgart and against Dortmund, coach Christian Streich’s protégés are visiting Eintracht Frankfurt today. The Baden team last suffered three Bundesliga defeats in a row in November 2021. On Thursday, the sports club gained fresh self-confidence with a 3-2 win at Olympiacos Piraeus in Greece. Frankfurt won the Conference League 2-1 against Scottish outsiders FC Aberdeen.
