The scene of the game
Not a scene, but two minutes: Bern, like the fire brigade, comes out of the first third break. First, Chris DiDomenico hit the woodwork (21st), then Romain Loeffel made it 1-0 (22nd) and a few seconds later, thanks to Thierry Bader, it was suddenly 2-0 (23rd). The guests could not recover from this shock.
The key figure
Romain Loeffel personally provided the pioneering lead and set up the second goal. An important performance by the Bernese defender.
The better team
Kloten actually started strong, but then gave up the reins. After the SCB double strike, the home side could do whatever they wanted. In the end one thing is clear.
The twittering of the grandstands
SCB oldie Beat Gerber (40) was honored before the game: it was his 1100th game for SCB. It shouldn’t have been the last, there are at least four more to come.

22.’ | 1:0 | Sceviour launched Lindberg, who then cleared Loeffel on the right with a lot of overview. The Neuchâtel caught goalie Metsola with a full shot on the catch hand side.
23.’ | 2:0 | Bern doubled immediately: Loeffel brought the disc sharply on goal, ex-Klotener Bader held out his stick. The guest defense seemed completely off the roll.
58.’ | 3:0 | Kloten took goalie Metsola out and Sceviour scored from his own third into the empty goal. The decision.
58.’ | 4:0 | Metsola stayed outside and SCB scored again in the empty goal: DiDomenico was the scorer who provocatively waved the Kloteners on vacation.
59.’ | 5:0 | Now goalkeeper Metsola was back in goal, but Bern didn’t have enough: Brügger to Baumgartner – goal through the fourth row.
