6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) alludes to conflict Ukraine And Russia that never ends. SBY assessed that all parties, including Indonesia, should not be neutral with respect to the conflict.
Initially, SBY explained the situation and conditions of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine which was getting worse and had the potential to become a bigger war.
“The development of the situation in Ukraine and Europe is worsening and could turn into a major war if the trend continues to increase, including the increasingly acute and profound hostility between the West and Russia and its allies. Mistakes can therefore occur. calculation, unexpected accident in the field or in the ground it can happen at any time, “SBY said in a seminar on” Geopolitics and International Security, Global Economy, & Climate Change “at the Fairmont Hotel, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Thursday (13/10/2022).

SBY alluded to the attitude of several parties who have chosen not to participate or take sides in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He said the decision might not be wrong.
“Maybe there is something about the war in Ukraine choose“Oh, I’m not joining, I want to be neutral, I’m not going to take sides, whether it’s pro-Russian or pro-Ukrainian and then West,” SBY said.
However, SBY has assessed that all parties should not be neutral in the conflict between the two countries. He reasoned that everything must prevent the conflict from deteriorating in World War III, even in nuclear war.
“But we cannot abstain, we cannot be neutral, all of us world leaders must prevent the situation from getting worse until the end of a new world war accompanied by the use of nuclear weapons, this is the most important thing. make the impossible possibleand asking for God’s help, with good intentions and serious efforts, if God wills, there will be a way, “he said
