Chairman of the High Council of the Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) contributed a song after the Democratic Party’s declaration of Prabowo Subianto. SBY also invited Prabowo to come on stage.
Initially, SBY said he would not make a political speech because it had already been done by Prabowo and the chairman of the Democratic Party, AHY. He actually wanted to contribute a song to Prabowo.
“I certainly will not deliver a political speech, I am now more involved in the world of arts and fostering sports. On this beautiful and historic evening, I want to contribute a song that I specifically convey to General Prabowo Subianto,” said SBY at the Democratic National Meeting, at the JCC, Jakarta, Thursday (21/9/2023).
After that, it appeared Prabowo Subianto then went up on stage. He was standing next to SBY.
Democrat cadres and Prabowo’s party cadres also enthusiastically welcomed the two of them. SBY then chose a song entitled ‘You’re Not Alone’ created by the song Jenis-X.
“Pak Prabowo, I ask your permission to hear me join there to sing the song with the hope that You Will Never Walk Alone, together we will become the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia,” said SBY.
SBY then approached the band on stage. He then sang the song.
“Trust me, even though it’s dark at night, you’re not alone, and all the stars I left will accompany you until the end of the night,” said SBY singing the song created by Type-X.
The cadres of the parties supporting Prabowo Subianto also appear to be making progress. They danced together accompanied by SBY’s chants. Not only that, Prabowo was also seen dancing happily on stage.
