SBY Appears in The Tomorrow War Movie, Here’s the Story Behind it

The 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) appeared in one of the scenes in the film The Tomorrow War. Here’s the story behind it.

The Head of the Strategic Communications Agency/Coordinator of the Spokesperson for the Democratic Party DPP, Herzaky Mahendra Putra, explained that the footage of SBY in the film was taken from the moment of SBY’s meeting with the then British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.

“The meeting took place at 10 Downing Street, London, where the British PM lives and has an office. The exact date the meeting took place was March 31, 2009, on the sidelines of the G-20 Forum in London, England,” Herzaky said in his statement, Sunday (18/18). /7/2021).

Herzaky considered the appearance of SBY in the film trailer as a matter of pride. He said the footage in the film was an acknowledgment that SBY played an active role in maintaining and promoting world peace.

“Of course this is a good thing, it should make us proud and grateful. First, one of the best sons of Indonesia, the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, was included in the film scene that was widely screened around the world as a protagonist and decisive,” said Herzaky.

“Secondly, in the scene shown, his figure appears as one of the leaders of countries in the world who agree with other world leaders in an effort to save the world. Here as a form of recognition to Indonesia, especially to the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, as one of the world’s leaders who, while in office, played an active role in maintaining and promoting world peace and order, in accordance with the mandate of the Constitution,” he continued.

Herzaky also considered the footage of SBY’s video as a form of the international world’s longing for SBY’s figure, especially now that the world is threatened by the ferocity of the Corona pandemic.

“Thirdly, there may be a longing from the international community, for his figure, in a world situation that is in crisis and threatens the existence of mankind due to the corona virus, to be actively involved and provide input, so that Indonesia can immediately improve and be free from the entanglement of the COVID-19 pandemic. as well as the current economic crisis,” he said.
